The Braves continued their busy offseason last Friday as they agree to a one-year deal with Huascar Ynoa to avoid arbitration and also veteran utility player Luis Guillorme to a one-year deal. Guillorme could become a part of the Braves bench, while Ynoa could be a versatile arm that could provided needed depth for Atlanta as he works his way back from injury.

Furthermore, this week will determine the potential salaries for both Max Fried and AJ Minters with deadline to submit arbitration figures on Friday. While an extension for either is a long shot, a one year deal could be an option before either hits free agency.

Shawn Coleman also looks at how the Braves recent success at draft pitchers rightfully puts them among the best in baseball at that practice.
