(MLBTR) D-Backs Acquire Matt Bowman From Twins

The Diamondbacks announced they’ve acquired reliever Matt Bowman from the Twins for cash considerations. Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic reported the move (on X) shortly before the announcement. “I like it a lot, I think it looks a lot like me. I’m just really proud that they took the time to dedicate a bobblehead to me,” said Moreno, “I feel good, just overall happy with it. There’s kind of no other happiness that comes with getting a bobblehead and looking forward to having my son play with it.”

(Yahoo! Sports) Through 6 starts, new Cubs ace Shota Imanaga has been the best pitcher in MLB

On Wednesday in Queens, Imanaga showed the best of himself once again, carving apart the New York Mets across seven scoreless innings. He struck out seven and walked one on only 87 pitches. At no point did the Cubs left-hander look the slightest bit perturbed. No Met reached third base against him.
