100 Strangers photography project lands in London

You might want to give your hair a quick comb before you leave the office tonight as a project challenging photographers to take portraits of 100 strangers has arrived in London.

Called, imaginatively enough, 100 Strangers, the venture is a global initiative run on Flickr and there are so far ten London photographers taking part. They’re encouraged to scour the streets for the perfect subjects to shoot before sharing their snaps on the Flickr page alongside the story behind each shot.

One of the photographers involved is Arnab Ghosal. He’s already reached portrait 78 and says: ‘It’s a fantastic project that gets you out of your comfort zone and creates the opportunity for some fantastic encounters.’
