    American Wins Best Actress Award

    On September 22-28, the U.S. Consulate General in Vladivostok supported the 10th annual Vladivostok International Film Festival “Pacific Meridian.” The American program at the festival was represented by a variety of genres from documentaries on fashion and ecology to feature and short films.

    U.S. Consulate Celebrates 20th Anniversary

    On September 27, the US Consulate General in Vladivostok hosted a celebration of its 20th anniversary at the historical Arsenyev Museum, the biggest museum in the city. Over 100 guests attended the ceremony and congratulated Consul General Sylvia Reed Curran.

    U.S. Consulate Greets International Conference

    On September 18th, U.S. Consulate employee Michael Cestaro participated in the opening of the International Scientific Conference “Custom Cooperation, Economic Relations and Legal Regulation in Asian Pacific Region and in the Customs Union.”

    New U.S.-Russia Visa Agreement

    On September 13, Consul General SYlvia CUrran handed out the first three-year, multiple entry, U.S. visa, thanks to the new U.S.-Russia visa agreement, which came into force on September 9.
