United Nations Development Group unite and deliver effective support for countries
World Bank-UN Partnership

UN-WB Partnerships
In recognition of the critical and complementary support they offer and the importance of integrated political, security and development frameworks in support of countries in crisis, the UN and the WB have developed a series of arrangements designed to strengthen their collaboration in support of national recovery efforts.

Those arrangements include a UN-WB crisis and post crisis partnership framework and a UNDG-WB operational annex, which highlights critical institutional commitments to increase joint planning efforts and improve financial inter-operability for post crisis pooled funds.

The UN Development Operations Coordination Office and the World Bank’s Fragile and Conflict-Affected States Group can provide you with further information and support for implementing those agreements and help you learn from good practices in other countries.
