Phase 2: Proposal Evaluation

Review and evaluation by the TTCP

During this phase, the TTCP will review the proposal. Often clarifications are required from the UNCT, resulting in increased correspondence between your designated focal point and the TTCP.

In some cases, the TTCP may field a mission at this point, to help resolve specific issues (e.g. negotiations with the Government or landlord, etc.).

TTCP endorsement

Only after a proposal for renovation/construction is endorsed by the TTCP, a request for funding is submitted to the HQs of the respective Agencies. Note that only the shares of the ExCom Agencies will be released; participating non-ExCom Agencies fund their respective shares separately.

The TTCP does not have a specific fund designated for UN House/UN Common Premises Initiatives. Rather, four ExCom Agencies use their own funding mechanism to release their respective share.

Final MOA/MOU/Lease

Following TTCP endorsement of the project, all applicable formal documents (MOA, MOU, Lease, Land Agreement) are finalized and signed.
