'Archer,' 'Lights Out' Dates Set, Plus Notable TV Premieres for January and February
by Maureen Ryan, posted Nov 30th 2010 3:30PM
This morning I compiled a list of January premiere dates (with the help of the ever-useful Futon Critic site). I also reworked my December schedule as well, and though I normally compile these schedules for my own use, I thought I'd share the resulting lists of notable TV dates with everyone else.
The timing seemed to be right, given that a few minutes after I posted that January roster, FX confirmed a couple of upcoming dates on the TV schedule: 'Lights Out' will debut Jan. 11 and the animated series 'Archer' will return to the danger zone Jan. 27. (For those of you asking, 'Justified' returns in February -- there's no exact date for that yet.)
So presented for your approval, here are dozens of notable TV returns and premieres that will arrive on your TV in the next couple of months:
Wednesday Dec 1
Terriers finale on FX.
Sunday Dec 5
Season finale of Boardwalk Empire on HBO.
Season finale of Walking Dead on AMC.

Being Human on SyFy? I hope to all that is holy they haven't done a remake! And I wish it wasn't on SyFy. Being Human deserves more than that... They'll probably butcher it like they did Caprica.

Yes it is a remake, but it surprisingly looks pretty good. Great cast and the original creator is on board

Shameless and Episodes start on the 9th, not the 7th

Love the list - thanks Maureen. But Nov. 30 was a Tuesday and Dec. 15 is a Wednesday.

BBC America airs the original "Being Human," a few months after it airs in the UK.
I do wonder if the SyFy version may confuse some viewers who are aware of the original.
