About UNDG Asia-Pacific
The UNDG Asia-Pacific works closely to address development and humanitarian issues in striving to achieve the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and beyond in the region. The work of the UNDG A-P is guided by the Triennial Comprehensive Policy Reviews (TCPRs), the Global RDT meetings and the Management and Accountability paper.

Overall, the UNDG A-P’s work is guided by its Terms of Reference and focuses on providing UN Country Teams (UNCTs) with strategic guidance and policy advice, and coherent, coordinated and timely technical support through the established inter-agency Quality Support and Assurance mechanism and oversight through the RC/UNCT Performance Appraisal system.

Information on the UNDG A-P’s work can be found in the annual work plan and includes, among others, focus on promoting the UN Reform Process; Quality Assurance of CCAs and UNDAFs; Promotion of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs); and Oversight through the Performance Appraisal process and strengthened coordination among the agencies. The UNDG A-P meets on a regular basis (its ToR specifies that it meet at least four times annually) and their work is supported by the UNDG A-P Secretariat, which ensures implementation and follow up to UNDG A-P decisions.
