Young Negi and his charges in Class 3-A get into all sorts of further antics as they seek to escape the magical world they have been drawn into. Ultimately this version has all of the taste and substance of cotton candy; it can be sweet fun but certainly won't fill you up.

Battle Royale -Ultimate Edition- GN 2
For the most part, the three volumes anthologized in the Battle Royale -Ultimate Edition- track the overarching plot of the novel pretty closely. Indeed, they are among the most gripping on offer and thus sure to entertain.

Skip Beat! GN 18
This series is one of the best contemporary shoujo manga titles—hands down—that Viz Media is currently releasing in English. It is simply not to be missed…especially if you have a weakness for showbiz stories spiced up with a heroine's epic quest for vengeance.

Hunter X Hunter DVD Box Set 2
Brings the Hunter Exam to a close with—you guessed it—a tournament. As always it sounds pretty bad, and as always, it isn't.

This installment doesn't pull off quite as much shock and awe as the last one, and the result is a rather pedestrian dose of hack-and-slash combat.

It's quite the challenge to think of even a single negative thing to say about the The Key to the Kingdom mangaka, but after considerable deliberation, this reviewer is pleased to report that she has arrived at something: Kyoko Shitou makes the bulk of the contemporary mainstream shoujo manga-producing world look bad.

Virtually every devoted reader—male and especially female—who bought the entire original 12-volume run of Hot Gimmick says something similar: They are horribly embarrassed to admit to anyone, even other fellow manga fans, that they totally adored it.

D.Gray-man DVD Season One Part One
If you are in it for the occasional action scene with Tim Burton-esque, gothic fantasy flair, you could do much worse. Check your critical faculties at the door, and you might not come away wholly disappointed.
