Article History: Received Accepted ailable online Availability of fossil energy has declined, so the price tends to rise. The increase in fossil energy prices affects the price of electricity, because most of the power plants in Indonesia use fossil energy. So with these conditions, many alternative energy systems are developed in the form of small-scale plants, commonly known as Micro-Hydro Power Projects (PLTMH). The MHP research was carried out on rice field irrigation channels in Suralaga Village, East Lombok Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the performance of the MHP on the number of turbine blades with variations in the number of blades namely 4 blades, 5 blades and 6 blades with 210 mm blade diameter, and 300 mm width. The height used in this study is 0.69m with the velocity of water at 4.6 m /s. The results showed that the highest performance was in the variation of the number of blades 5 pieces, with a constant water power of 1118.13 Watts, turbine power of 89.35 Watts, turbine torque of 15.67 Nm, turbine efficiency of 7.99% with turbine rotation of 46.7 rpm and system efficiency 4.60% with the specifications of the lights used which are 21 Watt 24 Volts, with these specifications, obtained generator power of 51.44 Watts, tip speed ratio 0.7740 at 84.4 rpm turbine rotation. Meanwhile, the lowest performance was obtained in the variation of the number of blades 4 pieces, with a constant water power of 1118.13 Watt, obtained turbine power 63.83 Watts, turbine torque of 14.36 Nm, turbine efficiency of 5.71% with turbine rotation 42.1 rpm and system efficiency of 3.36% with the specifications of the lights used 21 Watts 24 Volts, from the specifications of the lights obtained by generator power 37.53 Watts, tip speed ratio 0.7337 on turbine rotation 78.0 rpm.
