Tyroxian

Hailing from the planet Tyroxia, the unpleasant and antisocial Tyroxians are a threat to all who enter their region of deep space. They appear to be an organic, possibly insectoid form of life, to the extent that their space transports are also apparently living beings. There are at least two kinds of Tyroxian—small and two-armed (see below) or enormous and four-armed (see right). Their language is represented by a series of geometric shapes.

Hundreds of years ago, the Tyroxians encountered and captured the Autobots Hot Rod and Blurr who were scouting the area for a peaceful planet on the orders of Fortress Maximus. Hot Rod escaped from Tyroxia in a small shuttle but was pursued by two Tyroxian craft that had him in their sights until Kup — aimlessly drifting in space nearby — overcame his combat fatigue and shot them out of the sky.
Hot Rod urged Kup to return to Tyroxia to rescue their comrade Blurr, but Kup refused and set course back to Cybertron. Nevertheless, the young Autobot punk hijacked his ship and went down alone to face a whole planet full of Tyroxians. He managed to bust Blurr out of prison and fought of a number of the smaller Tyroxians, but his rescue attempt stalled when one of the larger, four-armed variety of Tyroxians decided to knock him around with a club for amusement. Fortunately for Hot Rod, Kup saved the day (again) by blasting a big hole in the Tyroxian. Kup's Story!
