Beet-Chop
From Transformers Wiki
- Beet-Chop is a Mini-Con from an unknown continuity family.
Beet-Chop (ビートチョップ Bītochoppu) is either a beetle who chops things, or a robot who likes to chop beets.
We're betting on the latter.

- Beet-Chop (Promotional Micron, 2014)
- Release date: May 17 2014
- Beet-Chop is a redeco of Generations Chop Shop in clear blue plastic, transforming into a robotic stag beetle. He also has a third "weapon" mode, which is basically just the beetle mode with a 5 mm handle and the pincers opened on a scissor joint.
- He also retains the "mine plow" mode of the original Chop Shop, meant to work in conjunction with the Legends-class Generations Megatron mold.
- He was part of the "Clear Micron Campaign", exclusive to Edion, Best Denki, Yamada Denki, and Yodobashi Camera stores, free with the purchase of 3000 yen worth of Lost Age product.
- This mold was also used to make BotCon 2015 Beet-Chit.
Notes
- Beet-Chop's blue color scheme is inspired by the package art of the Armored Insect Corps Beetras Beet-Gugal toy that was licensed by Hasbro to become Generation 1 Chop Shop, with the name 'Beet-Chop' paying homage to the 'Beet-[something]' naming scheme of the Beetras line.
- With no bio whatsoever, no fictional appearances, and having the only original character name among the Thrilling 30-molded Mini-Cons released with the Japanese Age of Extinction line, Beet-Chop's fictional placement is unknown.
