A military transport aircraft is a type of aircraft used in military operations.
Those can transport things for the military. Some transport airplanes can carry tanks, helicopters and other aircraft and vehicles.
It is called that because of its ability to transport military equipment and other military things such as military vehicles and military aircraft.
