Assistant Director (Training & Admin)

What The Role Is

You assess the training requirements of the Digital Defence Command (DDC) and develop appropriate training roadmaps and masterplans for personnel under the Command.

What You Will Be Working On

On this, you operationalise and monitor the training schedules to ensure that the personnel receive up-to-date and relevant training, in order to effectively execute their tasks. You work closely with external and in-service training entities to continuously develop and fine-tune training courses and modules, among other training related responsibilities. You identify and consolidate training courses, secure training billets and approvals, as well as monitor the submission of post-course/seminars reports to various fora. In addition, you liaise with external vendors and in-service entities on the courses required by the Command. Your challenge lies in exercising initiative and resourcefulness in order to be responsive to the requirements of the curriculum. You should be adept in developing robust training frameworks and be able to recommend relevant training/courses.

What We Are Looking For

You must have a tertiary qualification preferably in fields related to Training, Education, Business Administration and Human Resources, with at least 6 years' relevant work experience in a training, and/or HR field. Certifications in areas of education or training will be advantageous. Possession of good interpersonal and time management skills is essential.
