Each episode deals with a different subject, and comprises on-topic songs, puzzles, features and real-world footage. Pages about the activities are fed into Chips the computer, who prints out the comic (or pages for the book) at the end of each episode. The comics themselves could be purchased from newsagents during series one, but were soon combined with Playhour comic and effectively discontinued. To resolve this issue, during a repeat of season one, a book was available to purchase featuring the relevant pages from the comics. In series two, the gang are working on a new Chips Comic book, which is completed in the final episode and conveniently in newsagents and shops in time for Christmas. Written by captainsico See less
