Hartelijk dank voor je belangstelling voor Wikipedia! We werken hier aan het ideaal van een vrij beschikbare, vrij bewerkbare, volledige en neutrale gemeenschapsencyclopedie. We waarderen het enorm als ook jij hieraan wilt bijdragen!

De Nederlandstalige Wikipedia is sinds 19 juni 2001 online en telt inmiddels 2.160.161 artikelen. In de loop van de jaren zijn er voor het schrijven of bewerken van artikelen en voor de onderlinge samenwerking een aantal uitgangspunten en richtlijnen geformuleerd. Neem die als nieuwkomer ter harte. Lees ook eerst even de informatie in dit venster voordat je aan de slag gaat. Geen van de richtlijnen heeft kracht van wet, want Wikipedia is en blijft vóór alles vrij bewerkbaar, maar een beetje houvast voordat je in het diepe springt kan nooit kwaad.

Deze pagina, die nu op je scherm staat, is trouwens je persoonlijke overlegpagina, de plaats waar je berichten van andere Wikipedianen ontvangt en ze kunt beantwoorden. Iedere gebruiker heeft zo'n pagina. Wil je een nieuw overleg met iemand anders beginnen, dan kan dat dus op zijn of haar overlegpagina. Sluit je bijdragen op overlegpagina's altijd af met vier tildes, dus zo: ~~~~. Een druk op de handtekeningknop (zie afbeelding) heeft hetzelfde effect: je bericht wordt automatisch ondertekend met je gebruikersnaam en de datum en tijd waarop je je boodschap voltooide. Versturen doe je met de knop "Wijzigingen publiceren".

Uitnodiging om deel te nemen

Hallo Lottebelice, Op de Duitstalige Wikipedia heeft men al een aantal jaar een systeem waarin gebruikers die elkaar in levende lijve ontmoet hebben kunnen bevestigen dat ze elkaar kennen. Dit systeem heeft men bedacht om meer vertrouwen tussen gebruikers onderling te scheppen en zodoende een prettigere sfeer te creëren op de wiki. Op de Duitstalige Wikipedia is dit een groot succes en ik heb daarom het grootste gedeelte van dat systeem vertaald naar het Nederlands om ook op de Nederlandstalige Wikipedia een prettigere werksfeer te creëren. We zijn hiermee pas kort met dit systeem echt begonnen op de Nederlandstalige Wikipedia, het zou leuk zijn als meer gebruikers zich aanmelden. Het heeft pas zin om je aan te melden in het systeem als minstens drie andere gebruikers in levende lijve hebt ontmoet. Wij hebben elkaar al eens ontmoet bij bijeenkomsten waar ook andere gebruikers aanwezig waren, dus dat zit wel goed. Als je je aangemeld hebt kun je pas andere gebruikers bevestigen dat je ze ontmoet hebt als drie gebruikers jou reeds bevestigd hebben. Over het gehele systeem is meer informatie te vinden op Wikipedia:Ontmoete Wikimedianen. In het groene kader staan de instructies. Op Wikipedia:Ontmoete Wikimedianen/Deelnemers probeer ik een overzicht bij te houden van gebruikers die actief zijn op de Nederlandstalige Wikipedia. Hoi Romaine, was leuk je te ontmoeten! Heb me aangemeld voor de Ontmoete Wikimedianen. Hoop dat het goed is gedaan, best ingewikkeld. Evenals de overlegpagina's, het is me nog niet duidelijk of ik dit beter op jouw eigen overlegpagina kan zetten of niet, omdat je anders geen bericht krijgt. Echter, als ik het hier doe blijft de context van de conversatie bewaard. Het is nog even wennen :-). Jesse zal vast nog contact met je hebben over samenwerking. Hallo Lottebelice, Ja het is goedgegaan, je bent aangemeld. Het is nu even wachten totdat drie andere gebruikers je bevestigd hebben, daarvan heb je al 2 bevestigingen gehad. Ik heb geprobeerd om de instap zo eenvoudig mogelijk te maken, maar ik word daarin beperkt door de wiki-software. Soms heeft iemand wel eens hulp nodig, maar jou is het gelukt. Op nl-wiki is het gebruikelijk dat je reageert op de plek waarop je reageert, in dit geval hier omdat ik hier al een berichtje had gezet. Als iemand na enige tijd nog niet gereageerd heeft kun je hem vervolgens altijd op diens eigen overlegpagina erop wijzen dat er een reactie is. Vaak is dat niet nodig omdat gebruikers de pagina's waarop ze reageren op hun volglijst zetten (via de ster naast het zoekvenster bovenaan), en zo in de gaten houden of er een reactie gekomen is. Als je in de toekomst vragen mocht hebben, je kunt ze me altijd op mijn overlegpagina posten, ik help graag. Ik geef je een bericht als drie gebruikers je hebben bevestigd. Hallo Lottebelice, Omdat het erg lelijk staat om geen gebruikerspagina te hebben op de Duitse Wikipedia en met een rode link in de lijst van gebruikers te komen bij Ontmoete Wikimedianen, had ik die voor je aangemaakt met een link naar je gebruikerspagina op nl-wiki. Op die manier kunnen deelnemers makkelijker achterhalen wie er bij een gebruikersnaam hoort. Het is blijkbaar beleid op de-wiki dat alleen gebruikers zelf een gebruikerspagina mogen aanmaken. Mijn vraag is of je op de:Benutzer:Lottebelice deze pagina zou kunnen aanmaken? Je kunt daar zelf bepalen wat je er neerzet, wel zou het handig zijn als er minstens een link opneemt naar je gebruikerspagina op nl-wiki met bv: Siehe: [[:nl:Gebruiker:Lottebelice]] . Dank alvast! Ontmoete Wikimedianen: je bent bevestigd!

Hallo Lottebelice, Je hebt je eerder aangemeld voor het systeem van Ontmoete Wikimedianen. Door minstens drie andere gebruikers ben je bevestigd dat je hen ontmoet hebt. Je kunt nu zelf ook andere gebruikers die je hebt ontmoet bevestigen.

• Voor het overzicht staan op Wikipedia:Ontmoete Wikimedianen/Deelnemers de Nederlandstalige gebruikers.
• Wil je op de hoogte blijven van nieuwe aanmeldingen? Plaats dan Wikipedia:Ontmoete Wikimedianen/Deelnemers op je volglijst.
• Voor een volledig overzicht van de meer dan 1300 deelnemende gebruikers kijk je hier.
• Je kunt op je gebruikerspagina met een gebruikersbox aangeven dat je deelneemt in het systeem. Plaats dan {{User:Romaine/Persönliche Bekanntschaften/box}} op je gebruikerspagina. Dit werkt op de-wiki, en-wiki, fr-wiki, nl-wiki, Commons, Meta, Wikidata, WMBE-wiki en WMNL-wiki. Daarnaast kan dit voor ieder ander project worden aangevraagd.
• Vraag bij ontmoetingen of gebruikers zich hiervoor al aangemeld hebben. (Er zijn flyers beschikbaar met korte uitleg.)

Hoi Lottebelice,

Ik zag het artikel Eustace Miles van jouw hand. Leuk! Wel een verzoekje: Kun je bij vertalingen vanuit andere wikipedia’s ook aangeven dat jouw tekst een vertaling is, ook als je slechts ten dele gebruik gemaakt hebt van het anderstalig artikel? Dan krijgen de schrijvers daarvan de eer die hen toekomt. Inspiratie over hoe een dergelijke bronvermelding eruit ziet, vind je bv onderaan op Soldatenmoeders van Rusland. Ik hoop dat je hiermee uit de voeten kunt! Als je er extra uitleg nodig hebt, laat het me gerust weten.
