Every GMAT Focus student wants to complete the preparation process as quickly as possible, but studying for 8 hours a day, 7 days a week, is likely not the answer.

Remember, the human brain is an expensive organ for your body tomaintain . There is a reason why studying for the GMAT Focus for 3 hours will leave you more drained than binge-watching 8 hours of Netflix.

If you were studying for the GMAT Focus in a vacuum, I suppose that you could study for 8 hours a day and be fine. However, you’re not in a vacuum; you’re studying for the GMAT Focus in addition to other mentally draining activities such as a full-time job or school. So, to keep from burning out, try studying in 1- to 2-hour spurts rather than 4+ hour marathons.

Lots of approaches here.
Here's one:

GIVEN: X + Y = -1
Subtract Y from both sides of the equation to get: X = -1 - Y

Now replace the X in Quantity A with -1 - Y
We get:
Quantity A: -1 - Y
Quantity B: Y

Add Y to both quantities to get:
Quantity A: -1
Quantity B: 2Y

Divide both quantities by 2 to get:
Quantity A: -1/2
Quantity B: Y

we can see that there's no way to determine which quantity is greater.
Answer: D

Thanks for the question - it is a bit of a limitation on our side.
We do not start the RC and MSR timers in the sub-questions automatically in the Quiz. I think we will look into making it a reality and force the timers to start but not at this time unfortunately so you have to manually click "PLAY" button on the RC/MSR timers (any time there is more than 1 question on the page).

If you can find someone who is strong on Verbal and needs help with Quant, for example, that could be a good fit. There's a study buddy thread on gmatclub you could check out/sign up to.

From my perspective, there's two reasons that this option is not correct -
1. The question asks us why all the merchants often request payment to be made from Sen. gold. However, the option E specifies that "most" merchants prefer the same in order to resell it for the use in jewerly purposes. While it explains the reasoning for the most merchants, it doesn't answer why the rest of the merchants would still want the payment to be made in that particular kind of minted gold.
2. Moreover, even if for a second, we assume that this option had addressed "all" instead of "most", this would still not be enough. Here's why - Option E states that "they could not sell the metal unless it was first refined". The passage nowhere mentions that "nearly" pure/refined gold would work in the situation, or to be more precise - 92%

The blanks 1 and 2 have to complement each other. Rather whatever comes in 1 is being defended through or being exploited by 2.

Let us scan the five options.
A. mere use of Company X's resources in an activity is sufficient grounds for regarding that activity as related to Company X's business
B. mere use of Company X's resources in an activity is not sufficient grounds for regarding that activity as related to Company X'sbusiness
The above two are touching the same issue but are opposite. One says if some resources of company are used then the company has right over the product created, while the other says that the company does not have rights over the product.
Surely, from point of view company, the company would make A as a statement rather than B to justify it having rights

True and honest opinion from an actual user. It’s such a waste of money. All the consultants are confused students themselves with absolutely no idea of what they’re saying. The consultants are unavailable most of the time and I got a response from them after 2 days for small quick questions. They take an hefty amount of money as an advance and do not provide services according to what they sell before receiving the money. Do not sign up with them. Save yourself from a continuous chase after their staff members and consultants and the stress they give. Good luck!

GMATNinja , can you explain this answer. Why is option E correct. because even if the 100w bulb provide more light, the electronic lamp use can be proved to be more cost effective so the argument hold even if this assumption is false.
