FOLSOM, Calif. - No. 4 Stanford took first place in the varsity eight, varsity four and double at this weekend's WIRA Championships.
The Cardinal swept all three races in yesterday's prelim heats, advancing to Sunday's finals. The varsity eight final was the Card's closest finish of the weekend, still at over five seconds.
Last season, Stanford finished atop the varsity eight and four but took second in the double.
Stanford is back out on the water on Sunday, May 12 in Redwood City, hosting Boston University in the final tune-up before the IRA Championships May 31 to June 2.
