[[Hexastyle]] buildings had six columns and were the standard [[façade]] in [[Canon (basic principle)|canonical]] Greek [[Doric order|Doric]] architecture between the archaic period 600–550 BCE up to the [[Age of Pericles]] 450–430 BCE.
