Fails WP:NFCC 8 and 3a - Non-free image used in a gallery. Not the subject of critical discussion. Large number of non-free images on the page. A single image of the obverse and reverse of the generic bill will suffice, and the rest can be described using prose only. The Squirrel Conspiracy (talk) 05:45, 10 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Possibly not actually non-free (depending on the year of issue), but superseded by File:Australian $1 - original series - reverse.jpg on Commons regardless. Can't PROD because of a 2012 FfD. The Squirrel Conspiracy (talk) 09:10, 10 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

A diagram from a US patent application; the original patent contains a copyright notice, though it's unclear whether the notice applies to this diagram. See {{PD-US-patent}}. Wikiacc () 14:16, 10 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

A diagram from a 1997 paper, tagged PD USGov. I see no evidence of US Government involvement, except that the authors received some grants from the US Department of Energy. Diagrams appear to be creations of the authors, and so copyright probably resides with the authors, their institutions, or the journal publisher (American Arachnological Society). No URL for this image was provided but based on the information with the upload, this page appears to be the source. The permission assertion by the uploader of "The site says that it will give any permission to exhibit the image if the intent is educational", but that is not a sufficiently free license as Wikipedia allows commercial use. Furthermore the specific rights statement on the page states "Online access is provided for research purposes only. For rights and reproduction requests or more information, go to http://www.ohiohistory.org/images/information". The actual license tag applied by the uploader is {{PD-US-expired}} however there is no provided publication date and the date the photograph provided is the extremely broad range of 1910-1949. The photographer is known (Baus, Louis, 1875-1949 (Photographer)) so it may be PD as 70 years PMA. Whpq (talk) 14:35, 10 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Work from the Atlas colonial français, published in France in 1929. Author is Paul Pollachi, who died in 1937. According to c:Template:PD-France, the work was still copyrighted in France on January 1, 1996. Therefore it is not yet in the public domain in the United States. See {{PD-URAA}}. Unused. Can't find any evidence that the Botswana Defence Force uses or has used this flag. Stefan2 (talk) 21:34, 10 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
