Shouldn't the year in Yom Ha'atzmaut be 1948? It currently says 2007 and I ask this because Republic Day in Gambia is listed as 1970. Thanks, --[[User:Valley2city|<b><span style="background:blue"><font face="Comic Sans MS"><font color="white">Valley</font></font></span>2<span style="background:skyblue"><font face="Arial"><font color="white">city</font></font></span></b>]][[User talk:Valley2city|₪‽]] 06:27, 24 April 2007 (UTC)

: The 2007 refers to the fact that Yom Ha'atzmaut is not always on this day but it's on this day in 2007. We usually do this for non-Gregorian holidays. The 1970 refers to the fact that The Gambia became a republic in 1970. We usually do this for Independence days and similar national days. The year in brackets in the two cases refer to different things. It's probably the first time we have one of each on the same day. I've removed '1970' for now to avoid confusion. Thanks for pointing this out. --[[User:PFHLai|PFHLai]] 12:29, 24 April 2007 (UTC)
