This is a documentation subpage for Template:Container category.
It may contain usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page.

Usage

Tag parent categories with {{Container category/doc}} to inform editors that they should remain relatively empty. The categories will be added to the tracking category Category:Parent categories.

Other category-header templates

{{CatDiffuse}} - For requesting that included pages be re-categorised to the category's sub-categories.
{{Category redirect}} - Another category notice template which is also used for maintenance.
