KKJB (Channel 39) is a full-power television station based in Boise, Idaho. It is owned by Cocola Broadcasting.

Digital television

Digital channels

The station's digital channel is multiplexed:

Channel Video Aspect PSIP Short Name Programming[1]
39.1 480i 4:3 KKJB-DT Telemundo
39.2 Cozi TV
39.3 Antenna TV
39.4 QVC Over The Air

Analog-to-digital conversion

Because it was granted an original construction permit after the FCC finalized the DTV allotment plan on April 21, 1997.[2] The station did not receive a companion channel for a digital television station. Instead, on or before June 12, 2009, which is the end of the digital TV conversion period for full-service stations, KKJB was required to turn off its analog signal and turn on its digital signal (called a "flash-cut"). The station "flash-cut" its digital signal into operation on its analog-era UHF channel 39.
