Jumbo's was a restaurant in Miami's Liberty City neighborhood, in the U.S. state of Florida.[1] The restaurant was named one of America's Classics by the James Beard Foundation in 2008.[2] Jumbo's was opened in the late 1960's. [3] Jumbo's was one of the first white-owned restaurants in Miami to employ and serve Black people. [3] It closed after nearly 60 years in business during July 2014. [4]
