Michael Maggs

Background After obtaining my degree in physics, I developed an interest in the law and trained as a patent and trademark attorney before completing a law degree. I retired in March 2013 after 30 years in practice (22 as a partner) with a London patent attorney firm. Photography has been a long-term hobby, and it has been gratifying to discover just how many people and organizations look to Wikimedia Commons as a source of freely-usable images. I am more than happy to help anyone who is in need of the type of image I take, either for use on Wikipedia or elsewhere. I use a Canon 5D Mk II.
