This work appears to still be subject to copyright. This is a US memorial (so COM:FOP does not give an exemption) and there appears to be a copyright notice on the bottom right of the memorial (look above where it says COMMON CAUSE - that appears to be (name, probably Basha Paeff) (C) 1948). Thus, the "3D works without copyright notice installed before 1978" exception does not apply. Artist died in 1979, so we're not at life + 70 yet. Just searched Google Books's Search of Scans of the Catalog of Copyright Entries and found no renewal for "Bashka Paeff". So the original protection expired after 1948 plus 28 years = 1976. I'd put it to "PD-US-not renewed".ΟΥΤΙΣ (talk) 02:53, 13 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I'm certainly not a copyright expert, but agree with ΟΥΤΙΣ that it seems that this work is no longer protected by copyright, thanks to the very complex US copyright laws. Daderot (talk)
