    Duskwood have done it again. They are using the same formular of Stoner based tunes driven by a hard rock rhythm section; but how do they keep making their sound get better & better?? Still hear similarities with Steak or Lord 13. Maybe even Orange Goblin? Anyway; whatever Duskwood are doing; I hope they keep on doing it!!

    Tet is just another reason why I love Bandcamp. They’re a sublime mix of Samsara Blues Experiment, Colour Haze and Elder & I would have never found them without this forum. I am unfortunately one of those simpletons that only understand English but that is not a restriction when it comes to Tet. The music speaks for itself & I can’t recommend them enough.

    I think Charlie Hodgson has it nailed down. If you're into Stoner Rock, you need Nebula. When you have Eddie Glass working for you; you've hit your peak. Think Fu Manchu but better. For me, a Stoner collection is not complete without these guys. They're are up there with "have to haves" like Kyuss and Lowrider.

    Once more from the void, G&P emerge in riffage victory! I’ve always been a massive fan of these guys and it doesn’t stop now. The sound; while familiar, has a slightly different edge. Not worse, not better, just different. Still massive, immersive and progressive, but it hasn’t lost any of its flare. If you’ve gotten into these guys before, you’ll enjoy this outing. If you haven’t heard them before, you’re in for a treat.

    Ok….Well I’ve been away for awhile building up my vinyl collection after buying a turntable, but now I’m back; and there could be no better place to start than Lucid Afterlife. I understand that I’m reverse engineering this band but this is how I discovered them. I found the album “Descendant” have been (slowly) working my way back from there. They have a super diverse, massive sound & I’m really looking forward to another full album release. (Love the nod to Ten Year After on this outing)

    I was ashamedly very unaware of Budgie but I have now educated myself on all things Welsh 70ise rock. I think this album works so well for me because this was my first exposure to Budgie and it was a fine experience. There is nothing not to like about this album. Lovers of 70ies rock, look no further.

    This is colossal. I’ve been enjoying these guys for years but this album is next level. They seemed to have found their stride & it’s a biggin’. I feel that they’re heading into the Groove/Rock Genre of Clutch but still carry that epic, larger-than-life sound you’d expect from Zeppelin or later era Soundgarden. Their sound is tighter than a fish’s ass (and that’s water tight) & whatever these guys are doing; I’m loving it. And…the vocals are so, so, so good! I’m excited for their next outing.

    Just in case you didn’t know………you really need this album in your collection if you’re a dedicated Stoner Rocker. Please let me reminisce….. The year is 2002 and I’ve just heard “Out Of Control” for the first time from a mate who has some flawless taste. This lead me down the rabbit-hole that was Stoner Rock. These Belgium boys really know what they’re doing. Think Sasquatch, Lord 13, Corrosion of Conformity, Orange Goblin, Buffalo Hump, Blind Dog, DSW. Thanks C&A. Keep the Stoner Rock rockin.

    Top shelf Stoner Metal that leans more towards the Metal than the Stoner but fans of either genre will enjoy this. There’s a “Hidden in the Basement”, “Into the Wild” feel going on and the track “Stoned” has a very Monster Magnet on steroids vibe. There’s some nice stuff from Barcelona going on here.

    Immersive, cruisy Stoner that is that exceptionally professional considering this is Pale Summit’s first EP. It just has the feel of great things to come. There’s a large Grunge influence and for me that can only be a good thing as that era of music is one of my favourites. If you’re a fan of the rockier side of Stoner then you’ll not go wrong with this outing.

    Hailing from the last decade; here we have some good, solid Stoner Rock with a healthy dose of Grunge. Not sure how I missed this one when it came out but am glad I’ve got it now. They sound very generic of the bands from that era but it’s a retro-ish type of sound that I like. Maybe early Planet of Zeus. Any-hooos; it super addictive stuff that becomes more enjoyable with each listen.
