Saský vévoda z dynastie Wettinů, saský kurfiřt v letech 1691-1694. Na saský trůn nastoupil po smrti svého otce kurfiřta Johanna Georga III. (1647-1691) v roce 1691. Po jeho předčasném úmrtí nastoupil na saský trůn jeho mladší bratr saský kurfiřt a polský král August II. Silný (1670-1733). |
