This is a great local pizza joint that I didn't even know existed (and almost drove past when following my GPS). We had great service and an overall wonderful experience. Every crew member was very attentive, and we loved watching the worker hand tossing the dough. (He even threw some dough out to us to make a little fun!). It's a great atmosphere for any crowd.
We ordered The Bull pizza, and it was amazing! I really enjoyed the pizza because the put the perfect amount of sauce and cheese ratio in my opinion. Too much tomato sauce can hard on my stomach, but it was a great ratio on this pizza. (I usually order white pizzas, but the sauce was perfect.) The toppings were a perfect combination.
My reasoning for a 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the air conditioning issues. My friend had to move seats at one point during the meal because water was dripping from the vent in the restaurant. It landed on a slice of her pizza which is disgusting. Once she moved over, she didn't have any issues. I hope the owners find a solution to prevent this from happening in the future.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sonja R.Queens, NY521216May 30, 2024
Absolutely outstanding dining experience! From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere made us feel right at home. Amanda, our server was incredibly attentive and very nice, providing service throughout our meal.

Food is good, no complaints there. Service was okay, but servers seem overwhelmed, since was very busy on both visits.
Felt like an outsider , probably won't return.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Apr 1, 2024Previous reviewGreat casual Italian family restaurant.

Totally Absolutely Awesome. Our first time ordering & Due to delivery problems we had to wait approximately 3 hours. When The manager of Trattoria found out we had not gotten our dinner, he remade it and bought a whole new order to us. This was the best pasta, cheesy bread, garlic bread, Caesar Salad with Tuna. Honesty, I am so glad we found Trattoria. Hope everyone tries it. You won't be sorry

Perfect ambiance for a little Italian joint, I grew up in places like this in and near Chicago. And the staff was super nice and helpful. I guess it's the best pizza in the area, the crust and cheese were spot-on which is more than most places around here can say. But that's still a B- pizza. I could barely see any sauce. We ordered the "hot" (flavor, not temp) pizza which was good but the cucumber was an odd choice. With red pepper flakes it was a pretty good slice. In the future I'd order that one with a bit more sauce (not swimming) and sans cucumbers. The other dishes were a total miss. The garlic balls were just odd and the antipasto salad was a bed of lettuce with shredded cold cuts on top. An antipasto salad should have some good meats, a couple of peppers, perhaps some cherry tomatos, some olives, maybe some mozzarella pearls... I'm not sure how this salad got so off-track.
Also the home made italian dressing was pretty good.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Julie B.Mobile, AL07Sep 6, 2023
Went this afternoon around 4:00, pretty much us and another table or two, perfect timing. Began filling up at a steady rate by 5:30. We'd been outside all afternoon watching college athletics and were sweaty and very casual, but didn't feel particularly under-dressed. I'd say casual to business casual describes it.
Loved it. We had spaghetti/meatballs, manicotti and ziti. Generous portions. I love a good marinara and they have it. Got the "add on to an entree side salad" and it was quite large and tasty and a very good value. Green salad with cukes, tomato, onion, shredded mozzarella, black olives. Grilled garlic bread served as a garnish with entree very good. I'd probably get the bread plain rather than grilled next time. Just good, old school Italian food. Nothing "franchise-y" about it. Like, the only thing missing was Chianti bottles with candle wax drippings. If you're old enough to get that reference! Lots of other menu items to choose from as well, and pizzas looked good.
Not much to look at when you drive up, but it's bigger than you'd expect. Has a back room and cool outside part (just look at what all the other yelpers show in pics). Small bar in main dining room with a "stop off after work" vibe. Music was nice (70's pop/rock, more or less).
Lisa, our server, was awesome. I could imagine things might get hectic later in the evening, but maybe not?
Give it a try!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
