Fiorentina vs Napoli: Lineups and how to watch

Both managers name strong XIs for what is essentially a tournament final to earn a European place next year.

Late news

Fiorentina manager Vincenzo Italiano names a very attack-minded lineup, pairing Giacomo Bonaventura and Arthur in central midfield. Andrea Belotti’s injury means that M’Bala Nzola gets the nod up front. Napoli boss Francesco Calzona picks ex-Viola striker Giovanni Simeone to replace Victor Osimhen while shuffling his defense a bit, bringing Leo Østigård and Pasquale Mazzocchi into the back line.

While the tension here is considerable—the winner will be virtually assured of 8th place and European qualification—the real story of this final home match of the season is one of farewells: to Italiano, yes, and to many players, but also to the Curva Fiesole. The northeastern end of the Stadio Artemio Franchi is scheduled for major renovations this summer and won’t look even close to the same next year, assuming the municipal government even scrounges up the funds to finish the construction on time.

Lineups

Fiorentina (4-3-2-1): Terracciano; Dodô, Milenković, Martínez Quarta, Biraghi; Arthur, Bonaventura; González, Beltrán, Kouamé; Nzola

Napoli (4-3-3): Meret; Mazzocchi, Rrahmani, Østigård, Olivera; Anguissa, Lobotka, Cajuste; Politano, Simeone, Kvaratshkelia
