Double Ismart, in the blockbuster combination of Ustaad Ram Pothineni and director Puri Jagannadh, is getting ready for its theatrical release on August 15 as an Independence Day special. Meanwhile, the film’s entire shoot has been completed, and the post-production works have begun.

The makers kick-started the musical promotions with the mass song of the year- Steppa Maar. Industry insiders say that it is a chartbuster start to the audio promotions, and that the makers will intensify promotions by coming up with updates on a regular basis. Double Ismart is one of the highly anticipated pan-Indian projects and the much-awaited sequel for Ismart Shankar. Produced by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur under the Puri Connects Banner, the movie stars Sanjay Dutt in a powerful role and Kavya Thapar as the leading lady opposite Ram.

The Steppa Maar song showcases Ram Pothineni’s incredible dance moves. Fans can expect to see a vintage Ram in the high-octane action film. What is interesting is that Ram has got a new haircut and a stylish makeover for his part in this film. A sequel to the superhit ‘iSmart Shankar’, the film is carrying high expectations. Sam K Naidu and Gianni Gianneli have handled the cinematography of the film and Mani Sharma has provided the music.
