After first glimpse of Brahmastra, Ayan Mukerji reveals on-screen names of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor
After the official logo of Brahmastra was released with the help of drones in the sky, director Ayan Mukerji also revealed the on-screen character names of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.

Real life couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s first project together is also being observed as one of the most awaited films of 2019. On the occasion of Shivratri, the makers of Brahmastra decided to treat fans with a host of glimpses from the upcoming sci-fi by releasing the movie’s official logo in a special way. Ranbir, Alia and director Ayan Mukerji travelled to Prayagraj where the team had 150 drones form the logo in the sky.
Besides this, Ayan who joined Instagram today, also shared the first glimpse of the film and termed it as Part 1 of Brahmastra showing Ranbir and Alia as animes amidst streaks of lightning. As soon as the logo was dropped, he also revealed the duo’s on-screen names. “Shiva & Isha...#brahmastra,” he wrote. While holding a special puja at the launch of the logo at Kumbh Mela, photos of Ranbir and Alia looking up into the sky as BRAHMASTRA was formed, looks surreal.
In a powder green anarkali attire, Alia looked gorgeous as she stood alongside Ranbir who donned in a blue kurta and pyjama. During a LIVE video on Instagram, Alia asked fans to stay tuned as the next couple days more surprises were to be displayed. Earlier, Amitabh Bachchan and Alia had shared the map of Prayajraj on their social media handles that made fans curious whether the makers were going to release the trailer or teaser of the film.
Brahmastra is slated to release around Christmas and is set to the first a sci-fi trilogy. Besides Ranbir, Alia and Big B, the film co-stars Akkineni Nagarjuna, Mouni Roy and Dimple Kapadia, and helmed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.
