Entering the pop world at the age of 55 has its challenges, let me tell you. The frequent need for a cup of tea and a nap, for one. A dodgy back and a clicky knee, for another. But, on balance, I’m enjoying being a paunchy, slightly grizzled drummer in a happening pop group.
