VOTE: Should the Rockets pick up Jae’Sean Tate’s team option?

Our season recaps made it to Jae’Sean Tate this week, and he’s also the subject of our SB Nation Reacts poll. The swing forward is coming off of the worst statistical season of his career. He’s also 28 years old, meaning he’s not exactly on a timeline with Houston’s other young pieces.

The Rockets hold a team option on Tate this summer for $7.1 million. The Rockets also have very little cap flexibility as things stand now. However, despite his shooting woes from deep, Tate can still be a useful player.

What we want to know is, do you think the Rockets should pick up Tate’s team option this summer? The deadline is June 29.
