STDs

Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) and infections (STIs) are very common.

STDs are infections that are passed from one person to another during sexual contact, usually during vaginal, anal, and oral sex. These infections often do not cause any symptoms.

More than half of us will get an STD at some time in our lives. The good news is we can protect ourselves and each other from STDs.

Practicing safer sex allows you to reduce your risk of getting sexually transmitted diseases. And if you've done anything that puts you at risk of infection, getting tested allows you to get any treatments you may need.

It's important to know that you cannot be tested for most STDs until 2 or more weeks following the exposure. Speaking to our staff can help you decide which test is best for you and when you should come in for testing. Call 1-866-476-1321.
