The first day of "UN Week" got off to a busy start! The international community’s resolve to advance the rights of all persons with disabilities was reaffirmed and commitments to boost UN Millennium Development Goals achievements were announced, bringing the total to $2.5 billion in new pledges ahead of the 2015 target date for the Goals.
