Tisinger’s September 14 t h Newsletter E R TISING 5TH The Tisinger Chronicle GRADMRS.E Math: If your child is not scoring above 85% for their multiplication time test, they need to be working on their basic facts at home. They all know their score. We began Unit 2 this week. There is a math letter in the Friday Folder. Classroom Website I am setting up a classroom website. On it you will find important announcements, the lunch menu, and sites the children can link to for extra practice in math, spelling, and vocabulary. Please return the sheet (Green Paper) to let me know if you would still like to receive a hard copy of my newsletter, or if you will just use the classroom website. This week’s highlights Monday: Students began putting 30 different cards of the moon in order. Tuesday: Watched a clip on 9/11 and wrote thank you cards to the WB fire department. Wednesday: Used Internet articles to work on comparing and contrasting. Thursday: Music- Learning the lyrics to the National Anthem. Friday: Art- Began to learn how to use their computers to create “art.” Up Coming Dates and 18th I will be at E Grant Wood.
