The development of a data driven economy has been a major orientation of economic policies over the past few years based on (i) the wider availability of data promoted in particular by the Open Data movement and (ii) the development of dedicated tools to support heterogeneous data and data in large quantities (Big data). Reports anticipate the creation of enormous amounts of economic activity and growth opportunities. However the promise of the data-driven economy lies to a large extent in the development of new services. The return on investment of open data policies for instance should be evaluated from the services created based on open data sets. Open data promoters couple more and more open data initiatives with actions dedicated to the promotion of the datasets for the creation of new services. Nevertheless the results in terms of services created remain below the expectations of open data promoters. Indeed most services created are not sustainable and / or do not use the variety of datasets. They are to a wide extent relying on a limited number of very popular datasets. In order to make the promise of the data-driven economy a reality, it is therefore necessary to increase reuse and value extracted by services from data. Our hypothesis is that service innovation approaches can help understand the mechanisms that drive the creation of services. We therefore propose to analyse the roles that the data can have in the design of services based on a theoretical framework of service innovation.

on each block in shared data is kept private from public verifiers. Homomorphic authenticable ring
signature (HARS) scheme is applied to provide identity privacy with blockless verification. Batch
auditing mechanism supports to perform multiple auditing tasks simultaneously. Oruta is compatible
with random masking to preserve data privacy from public verifiers. Dynamic data management process
is handled with index hash tables. Traceability is not supported in oruta scheme. Data dynamism
sequence is not managed by the system. The system obtains high computational overhead

A web service is an autonomous software that exposes a set of features on the Internet, it is developed and published by providers and accessed by customers who discover it, select it, invoke and use it. Several research policies have been implemented such as searching through keywords, searching according to semantics and searching by estimating the similarity. A customer is looking for a service for the operations he/she carries out, hence the interest of guiding the search for services towards a search for operations: finding the desired operations amounts to finding the services. For this, groupings of similar operations would make it possible to obtain all the services that can meet the desired functionalities. The customer can then select, in this set the service or services according to its non-functional criteria. The paper presents a study of the similarity between operations. The proposed approach is validated through an experimental study conducted on web services belonging to various domains.

Science Services and Science Platforms: Using the Cloud to Accelerate and Dem...Ian Foster
Ever more data- and compute-intensive science makes computing increasingly important for research. But for advanced computing infrastructure to benefit more than the scientific 1%, we need new delivery methods that slash access costs, new sustainability models beyond direct research funding, and new platform capabilities to accelerate the development of new, interoperable tools and services.
The Globus team has been working towards these goals since 2010. We have developed software-as-a-service methods that move complex and time-consuming research IT tasks out of the lab and into the cloud, thus greatly reducing the expertise and resources required to use them. We have demonstrated a subscription-based funding model that engages research institutions in supporting service operations. And we are now also showing how the platform services that underpin Globus applications can accelerate the development and use of an integrated ecosystem of advanced science applications, such as NCAR’s Research Data Archive and OSG Connect, thus enabling access to powerful data and compute resources by many more people than is possible today.
In this talk, I introduce Globus services and the underlying Globus platform. I present representative applications and discuss opportunities that this platform presents for both small science and large facilities.
