Exposure 2017 was the largest women's skateboarding event in the world, attracting 166 competitors from around the globe to compete for a $50,000 prize purse. The event also generated over 11.5 million impressions on social media. Exposure donates its proceeds to support survivors of domestic violence at a local shelter, totaling enough funds to help over 150 people through the shelter's program. Top competitors in the pro, amateur, vert and street divisions earned cash prizes for their performances.
