🌟 Celebrating Achievements with the Google Career Certificate! 🌟 Before earning my Google Career Certificate, I was in a career transition phase. I felt stuck and knew I needed a change. As a lawyer and mentor to entrepreneurs, I craved tools that would allow me to make data-driven decisions to provide the best strategic and marketing support to my clients. That's when I decided to enroll in the Google Career Certificate, a choice that would change my professional trajectory. ✨ Transformation and Skills Acquired ✨ The Google Career Certificate was a game-changer for me. The program not only provided me with technical knowledge but also connected me with an incredible community of Google volunteers who offered invaluable mentorship. During this journey, I learned to: - Analyze data effectively to guide strategic decisions. - Develop robust marketing plans based on precise insights. - Utilize essential tools that improved my flexibility and work-life balance. 🚀 My Achievements 🚀 Since completing the certification, the transformation has been remarkable: - Empowering Entrepreneurs: I have helped numerous entrepreneurs optimize their businesses with data-driven strategic planning. Seeing their businesses thrive has been extremely rewarding. - Renewed Confidence: The certification renewed my confidence in my abilities, allowing me to make more assertive and strategic decisions in my daily work. - Balance and Flexibility: I have significantly improved my work-life balance, allowing me to dedicate more time and energy to my projects and my family. 💡 Tips for Those Just Starting 💡 For those thinking about making this change, here are some tips: - Believe in Yourself: The first step is to trust in your ability to learn and adapt. Every challenge is an opportunity for growth. - Be proactive: Always seek to learn something new and apply this knowledge to your projects. Don’t be afraid to explore new paths and make mistakes, as we learn from mistakes and new experiences. - Communicate: Share your achievements and learnings, as this can inspire and help others to follow in your footsteps. We live in a world full of opportunities; don't be afraid to ask for help. I was fortunate to have the support of Google volunteers who helped me navigate this new digital era. I am immensely grateful to Google for this transformative opportunity and the invaluable mentorship from the volunteers who guided me along the way. If you're thinking about making this change, go for it! The challenges may be significant, but the rewards are immeasurable. Thank you so much, @GrowWithGoogle, for changing my life. With all the knowledge I've gained about innovation, leadership, Google's culture, and technology, I am now helping entrepreneurs who dream of creating a sustainable company that generates wealth and helps solve problems, focusing on the pillars of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles. #GrowWithGoogle #marketing #datadriven

Product Designer I @ SmartRent | Accessibility Advocate

🎊 Here’s what’s been happening since I finished the Coursera Google UX Design Certificate January 2022! 🎊 → March 2022: Landed my internship with SightPlan (acquired by SmartRent) where I worked as a UX Design Intern. The certificate inspired me to specialize in accessibility and have been ramping up our accessibility efforts since then! → May 2023: Graduated from college and offered a full-time position at SmartRent for Junior Product Designer. Still working on features and ramping up accessibility. → March 2024: Promoted to Product Designer I at SmartRent. Doing more of the same and crushing it! → Now: I just had my first major client facing feature released a couple weeks ago, Calendar View, and I’m making big plans for SmartRent’s accessibility. It took me longer than I expected to complete the Google Certificate. There were times where I wasn’t sure where I’d be able to get a job having only the certificate as my experience. Even after landing the initial internship, the imposter syndrome remained. I’ve learned that never goes away and sometimes you just have to look at the facts. When I look at my facts above, I realize I’m proud of myself for how quickly I’ve been able to prove myself and show off the amazing work I’m capable of. My point is, the certificate was worth it. It helped me build my portfolio and land a position that has continued to pay off and fulfill my goals. It’s cliche but everyone’s path is truly different, and this certificate helped shape mine. For those completing the certificate now, keep going, you’ve got this! #GrowWithGoogle #GoogleUXCertificate, Coursera, Google Career Certificates Image Description: The badge I earned from completing the course mentioned in this post. It says “Coursera, Google UX Design Certificate, Certification of Completion”.

Do you want to give them a leg up for when they apply for jobs in the tech sector?
