Minor league update for 4/23/24

Down East starter David Davalillo went 4.2 innings, striking out eight and allowing one run on a solo home run.

Jesus Lopez was 1 for 3 with a homer and a walk. Gleider Figuereo was 1 for 3 with a double and two walks. Jojo Blackmon had a hit and a stolen base. Chandler Pollard had a hit.

Brock Porter started for Hickory and had a rough outing, allowing four runs in 3.1 IP, walking six and striking out three. Skylar Hales struck out four and walked one in 1.2 scoreless innings. D.J. McCarty struck out three in four scoreless innings.
