Twisters (2024)
Now I Just Found Both Twister And Twisters As Something That I Try To Care But Just Couldn't
I guess tornado just wasn't my thing, now i just found both Twister and Twisters as something that i try to care but just couldn't, it's something that i definitely really curious about to some people who wasn't into this at all and still can enjoy the story or the purpose of the story at all, literally besides the great visual and special effects in the film, while the 1996 Twister still have a more interesting lead characters by Helen Hunt and Bill Paxton, they also have Phillip Seymour Hoffman in it, Twisters now lead by two newcomer Daisy Edgar Jones and Glen Powell, although they were just quite a whatever lead/characters in this one for me, i didn't hate it, and they're present was charming enough, but then there's also the rest of the crew that i just don't find them as interesting as the first one, i appreciate the different story approach that they went too, but again tornado just wasn't my thing, in fact this movie is longer and have way more Tornado information that i just couldn't bother to be interested for a bit, overall Twisters is not terrible, it does unnecessary in my opinion, but for the great visual and special effects i do must acknowledge it, and also while the characters and the story really flawed, the performances wasn't bad, and there is still some real intention by them making this unnecessary film at the very least.
Twister (1996)
It's Not A Bad Film Overall, It's Just Fine, But Still Not Really My Thing
Weather geeks will absolutely get their heads spinning in excitement and fascination for this movie, but for just an average moviegoers and not really into the depth of this are mostly find Twister as a "that's a disaster movie" and probably the best they've seen compare to all the B-movie Sharknado disaster type of film, i appreciate some things from Twister, mostly on the production wise, the special effects and all of that were incredible, characters wise and performances by the cast was ok, but the story itself for me personally just wasn't the best thing i've seen nor it's the story that i was really that interested, so i was watching it and just thought "sure, do whatever you want, i'll watch" there is this huge intensity build up that missing, i also wanted to be worries and super scared by this Tornados and i just wasn't really feeling it throughout the film, although again the production was great, there is this Helen Hunt and Billy Paxton personal character story that i can still follow, it's not a bad film overall, it's just fine, but still not really my thing.
Alien: Covenant (2017)
Covenant Was Still A Passable Addition To The Alien Franchise, At Least It's Not Terrible In My Opinion
It is more of a sequel to Prometheus than a prequel to Alien, and i can see lots of people disappointed by the film because the Alien is more of a second antagonist in this film without spoiling it, and mostly those are comes from the people who never seen Prometheus, now me as an admire of Prometheus also think that Alien: Covenant is not without it's lots of flawed, if we talk about the world scale, Ridley Scott is the master of it, it looks incredible and amazing, in terms of the story while i do think it's flawed, i can accept it and i thought it was an ok enough story for me to engaged with it, to follow it, to get interest with it, and i also think the performances was great, what lacks is the huge skin crawling feeling that i miss from Alien: Covenant specifically the last climax battle sequence, it's intense and bloody but i needed more of it, many people are questioning the characters logic in Prometheus, i thought Alien: Covenant have more visually obvious moments of logic questioning, and i did also ask myself about it, and so those are the flawed of Alien: Covenant, again overall i don't think it's in any kind a bad movie, i like the performances, i like the world, and i was engaged and interested enough for the story for me to enjoyed throughout, lots of questioning moments and still some story flawed was not as incredibly exciting as the previous film or of course the original Alien, Covenant was still a passable addition to the Alien franchise, at least it's not terrible in my opinion.
Prometheus (2012)
One Of The Best Prequels I've Ever Seen
Anybody at this point shouldn't be underestimated Ridley Scott's work for making this prequel of an iconic franchise, as his make his prove at least for me that he also can make a great prequel, Prometheus, a prequel to the Alien franchise that feel like it's own original film and story, it's reminded me of the first Alien Vs. Predator movie where there is also these bunch of group of people discovering and analyzing a hidden place, the differences is that Prometheus fills with a way greater story, a way greater characters and characters development, a way greater production, and way greater filmmaking technique, it is almost as exciting and as intense as the original 1979 Alien is what i felt, Michael Fassbender is giving one of his best performance as David, he is just perfect for the role, Noomi Rapace as the Ellen Ripley of this movie was also great, and the rest of the supporting cast were also pretty good, and i also want to mention the main score of the film which i found pretty memorable, minor flawed like the human alien stuff that a bit silly to see, some of the acting decision were a bit weird, but overall i'm surprised on how much i was engaged with this film, nobody i'm sure was interested on seeing a prequel to Alien, but you take my words when it was directed by Ridley Scott himself, it is simply greater than you expect, i found Prometheus as a great prequel, and it's one of the best prequels i've ever seen.
Predators (2010)
An Ok Film With Enough Passable Stuff
What i felt in the movie for it's entirely until the last 30 minutes of the film was the same feeling that i have with the original 1987 Predator with Arnold Schwarzenegger, which is a movie that i thought wasn't bad overall but i wouldn't say i like it, there is some good interesting stuff in it but there is also some uninteresting stuff in it that could sometimes be whatever and ok but also could be pretty flawed, but for mostly i just felt that it was a ok enough film for me to still engaged with the story and with these flawed characters, until like i mention earlier the last 30 minutes which i think was the best part of the movie and i can say that it was a good last 30 minutes, and so i gave another half of point for that, overall Predators was another flawed attempt in a franchise that somehow i never really bothered, but mostly it wasn't something that just plain terrible stuff (except for the god awful Predator 2), same thing happen here, it was an ok film with enough passable stuff, and in my opinion the best solo Predator movie so far.
A Quiet Place: Day One (2024)
A Quiet Place: Day One Is Easily One Of The Best Films Of The Year
It is exactly what i want, a straight forward film still with enough good characters development without a long uninteresting boring backstory, to the point, a 99 minutes of intense entertainment, director Michael Sarnoski was successful taking on this franchise, and John Krasinski should be proud, it is one of the best prequels i've ever seen, there is just a perfect amount of scared, intensity, and danger, also a perfect amount of characters development that aren't showed too much and the most importantly it was enough for us to actually care about these two main characters, and the way the executed it was just awesome, it works for me personally, i just love it overall, and if there's any complain was just some of the slower parts could've done better in any way, but the rest of A Quiet Place: Day One was some of the best thing i've seen this year, and easily one of the best films of the year.
AVPR: Aliens vs Predator - Requiem (2007)
Easily One Of The Best Crossover Movie Ever Made, A Fun And Entertaining Bloody Event
8.5/10
I'm applause for this, people, Aliens Vs. Predator: Requiem is easily one of the best crossover movie ever made, this is exactly the Alien Vs. Predator movie that i wanna see, it's a way better movie overall including a way better story, a way better battle, a way better characters that i actually like, way well performed as well, way better pacing, and my god does this movie is brutal, and i take the goryness in this movie as a positive as i see it as the way they show these two creatures are not just playing around, they kill in the most horrific way, and for it to make the audience scared? It works, even i was shock, it's intense, it's thrilling, it's unexpected, sure it's not an art piece, but it's an event for sure, a fun and entertaining bloody event, like i mention earlier i think overall Aliens Vs. Predator: Requiem is easily one of the best crossover movie ever made, and the bar set for crossover movie was not high, this is on another level though.
AVP: Alien vs. Predator (2004)
Still Wouldn't Consider It As A Good Movie, There Is Surprisingly Some Good Stuff In It, And Also Surprisingly Far From Terrible Movie As A Whole
6.5/10
You know what, the least i expect from this movie was some actual decent stuff, but i was actually surprised on how much impressive stuff that i found in the film, mostly on the set design and the production design of this film was surprisingly great, they actually put some works to it and some money to it, the special effects were also great, the predators and the aliens were also great, those i was surprisingly impressed, the main story of the film was actually really fun on board, these scientist going to this mysterious pyramid the whole movie, it's a fun story on board it just depends on how they execute it, and i felt like they could execute it way better than this, there is still some fun but sometimes the pacing could go quite slow too that it makes me quite bored, the characters were fine it just what i expected when i saw none of the actors were that famous, literally every single actor in this movie was just a top tier B-movie actor, and their performance could be terrible too at times but i guess their performance mostly was just meh, anyway, overall while i still wouldn't consider Alien Vs. Predator as a good movie, there is surprisingly some good stuff in it, and also surprisingly far from terrible movie as a whole.
Speed (1994)
Easily One Of The Best Action Movie Ever Made, And One Of The Most Thrilling Movie I've Ever Seen
Despite some of the bad acting in the film, Speed is definitely a terrific non-stop heart pounding film, a perfect movie with some of the most efforts movie production i've ever seen, Dennis Hopper couldn't do a less great job in this film as this menacing super dangerous villain with this super clever mind, but no other person that could step and think even further than Keanu Reeves character with also some of the most genius decision, Sandra Bullock doesn't only play this random beautiful useless girl that are basically a distraction, the way Jan De Bont uses her and literally not only the main characters, even the passengers have their own personality and so we also care about them, it's fascinating how this movie works, it's thrilling, it's amazing, it's intense, it's scary, even i was confused and even try to also think what they should do next in certain intense moments, overall Speed was easily one of the best action movie ever made, and one of the most thrilling movie i've ever seen.
Predator 2 (1990)
Predator 2 Was Really Some Of The Stupidest Uninteresting Silly Dumb Monster Movie Full Of Boredom, It's Terrible
I was never been a fan of the original 1987 Predator movie, i thought that movie when it hit the action button it was good and entertaining, but when it don't it was boring, but the performances in the first movie was still acceptable, however, here comes the random unnecessary sequel for the film starring Danny Glover, Predator 2, which is the opposite from the first film in terms of the action and the dialogue scene, the action was really boring in this one, and while the dialogue didn't bored me, it still frustrated me because how terrible all the acting was in this movie, it's really poorly acted, also boring story, bad camera work, boring action, it kinda get just a tiny bit entertaining to see how bad it is but then it came back to become this silly, stupid, and dumb boring film, Predator 2 was really some of the stupidest uninteresting silly dumb monster movie full of boredom, it's terrible.
Inside Out 2 (2024)
Not A Bad Sequel But More Of Like A Less Special And Less Important Sequel, Not A Good One Too But There Is Still Something To Like
6.5/10
Even if Pixar doesn't even try to top the first Inside Out, this sequel, Inside Out 2 as its own was still a lackluster in my opinion unfortunately, now it wasn't a bad film at all, i didn't hate it, i didn't dislike it, it just that in my opinion Inside Out 2 felt less important than the first one, felt less deeper than the first one, in the first movie Riley was still in her pre-teenage years and yet somehow the theme feeling and story and the emotion of that movie felt more adults, that's what missing here or at least what i wish for, the more grown up story for Riley, sure it still makes sense that after what happen in the first movie everything was better for Riley, and this high school era of Riley was still acceptable and realistic enough, and so while i do hope more serious story, i'm still completely fine with it, then comes the new emotion, Anxiety, Envy, Embarrassment, and Boredom, and to make it less longer, i thought they all an ok enough new addition to the film overall, but i do thought that Anxiety could be too much for me or over the top at times and so that also quite became a miss from me, i do felt a bit bored at times, and that's about it for the things i don't really dig it in this sequel, quite a lot, but i do still have some soft spot for the film, the things that i like are of course the voice acting are mostly good, the animation was great, i do still enjoy a portion of the stuff that happening in the film, there is this three new characters in the film that they didn't show in any of the trailer and god did i wish they did more in the film, i can see them also join Joy and the gang for the rest of the film and it will makes the film way better, too bad they have so little of screentime as i really thought they were the best things in the film, overall i found Inside Out 2 as not a bad sequel but more of like a less special and less important sequel, not a good one too but there is still something to like, it's a movie that try to be less serious than the previous one while still added some seriousness in it but it just wasn't the same and wasn't as powerful as the previous one, but still an ok depiction of someone that was in they early teenage stage, and so go watch it if you like the first one, if you don't then go still watch it i guess, if you really love the first one then i suggest reduce your expectations a bit before you watch it.
Minions: The Rise of Gru (2022)
It's Another Hit From The Minions To Me People, And I Like It Overall
I can confirm myself as a Minion enjoyer as i really do enjoy all the Despicable Me movie including the 2015 Minions movie, because i've had a pretty nostalgic memories watching that film in the theaters, and 7 years later we finally got the sequel to that movie, and while Minions: The Rise Of Gru i could say wasn't as memorable as the first Minions movie, it's still a thoroughly entertaining film, i just can't lost it with these minions man, and of course Gru was just such a fascinating character i think, it's another fun simple entertaining kids film with the special added of the minions and Gru, a good and entertaining enough villains and story, great voice acting, and great animation, it's another hit from the Minions to me people, and i like it overall.
The Man Who Saw Tomorrow (1981)
It's Just Pure Entertainment
Believe it or not, whether it's true or false, do your own research, i'm just an enjoyer watching this type of controversial topics, all i can say about The Man Who Saw Tomorrow in terms of the documentary itself i found the past stuff both in terms of some of the short moments of Nostradamus life was entertaining, and the past prediction that are quote unquote "True" or "Written" hundreds of years before it happens to be again entertaining, and it couldn't been less perfect to choose the man, the myth, the legend himself, Mr. Orson Welles as the narrator, and the parts that i felt just straight out silly was of course the future predictions, of course people can take it seriously back then when it didn't happen, and maybe it still didn't happen now, i just found it as a silly obvious world destruction predictions, like what else right?, anyway, it's still an entertaining documentary overall, lots of interesting stuff if you don't really take it seriously of course, it's just pure entertainment.
Drive-Away Dolls (2024)
Wasn't Terrible But It Was Sort Of A Whatever Movie That Was Unfortunately Unmemorable And Not That Well Executed, Mostly
I don't think it's a terrible movie, but Drive-Away Dolls felt wasted in terms of story and execution, it's sort of a meh parody crime story, and also intented to be a comedy, now i'm gonna be honest i didn't laugh at all, Geraldine Viswanathan and the rest of the cast performance was actually entertaining enough, in fact Joey Slotnick and C. J. Wilson as the two guys that chasing the girls was i think the best thing in the movie as they were really the most entertaining to watch, and Margaret Qualley was a good actress, but it's her bad texas accent in this movie that i can't stand, i guess the whole psychedelic visual that happen in the movie couple of time was interesting, some of the cinematography were also interesting, and again i just felt ok for like almost most of the film but towards the end it just became a bit too long, and some of the scene just felt unnecessary or just wasn't as well executed, overall Ethan Coen's first actual feature film was a disappointment, Drive-Away Dolls wasn't a terrible film but it was sort of a whatever movie that was unfortunately unmemorable and not that well executed, mostly.
Beetlejuice (1988)
A Pretty Good Entertaining 80s Classic Flick From Tim Burton
7.5/10
It's quite an entertaining film, Beetlejuice was fascinating in terms of all the weird special effects, those classic good old scary 80s incredibly creative and well made special effects, i really love it, Michael Keaton was great playing this lunatic person, Winona Ryder, Catherine O'hara were all entertaining to watch, and so do Alec Baldwin and Geena Davis, and while the story of it was sure silly and the more you think about it wasn't really that exciting or amazing, i mean it's entertaining enough, and i think if they use Beetlejuice more in it, it could make it even better for me, but overall Beetlejuice is still a pretty good entertaining 80s classic flick from Tim Burton.
Late Night with the Devil (2023)
Wasn't A Perfect Show But I'm Still Fascinated By Most Of It And Still Enjoyed The Whole Show
8.5/10
Well that is one hell of a Late Night show for sure, it's a fascinating idea and concept absolutely, although if you really wanna do all of this stuff, it make sense that you can also judge it based on the Late Night show itself, it surely entertaining, and filled with interesting interaction, silly and cheesy act in the beginning by Christou, interesting choice of camera angle especially for a Late Night show, and definitely creepy stuff near the end until the abruptly ending of the show, very well made, very well acted, good choice of special guest, and then comes the fantasy stuff, that are quite enjoyable to watch with all the blood and goryness of it, superpower and all that stuff, and i just realized that it was a movie, oh yeah, Late Night With The Devil takes some very interesting and creative idea of this one movie set on a Late Night Show, also showing behind the scenes during the break with this great black and white choice of color, great performances by all the cast, and while it wasn't something that i can say that it was a legit nightmare, i still enjoy the fantasy element to it, some of the act wasn't particularly interesting just like the real Late Night show, overall i'm still fascinated by most of it and still enjoyed the whole show, an easy one sitting watch watching both show and movies at the same time.
Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga (2024)
Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga Was An Ok Addition To The Mad Max Franchise
It's a great film to watch, i love seeing the big scale of it in the theaters, and i guess that's the best thing in Furiosa for me, disappointing? No, could've been way better? Yes, i think Furiosa is still a pretty intriguing movie to watch from the beginning till the end overall, it just that the film already giving you the clue that it's not gonna be Fury Road in the pretty weak opening scene, not bad but for a Mad Max film it should've been more explosive, some of the transition editing i just wasn't a big fan of it, and if you want my comparison to Fury Road from a guy who didn't like Fury Road, i think Furiosa could've been a really great movie if it have the action like Fury Road and actually have a great interesting story and characters development, they have it and it's not bad but wasn't as great as i wanted in terms of the action and the story, performances wise i think was the strongest aspects of Furiosa, Hemsworth is easily giving one of his best performance, and Anya Taylor-Joy was also great, the action was again good but i wish it was a Fury Road greatness of action, they thankfully added a more big story to it and it was an ok story i must say, but still wasn't the best, and i do wish that it was better, i do like the narration style of it makes it felt more epic scale, and overall Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga was an ok addition to the Mad Max franchise, it takes some things that half not as good as the previous film in terms of the action, but filled the missing important stuff from the previous movie didn't have which is an actual story and they have it although wasn't as great as it should be it still an ok story that i can still follow throughout the film, and great performances by all the cast.
Challengers (2024)
A Good Movie With Great Stuff In It
I mean it's a classic love triangle story, just a tennis version, and more stylized version, it's well made, and it's performed really incredibly by all the cast, i've never felt so deeply into these characters in this type of love triangle cases and for me to actually care about it in a long time, it's brutal, toxic relationship, it's pretty intense even though i'm not straight feeling it, and i think that's quite the issue that i have with Challengers was that towards the end the timeline switch quite bothering me a bit that i can see myself being more into the intensity of the situation more if it's done better, but again i still appreciate the scenes itself as it was well written and well acted, great cinematography also, and just overall a good film, i'm not gonna rewatch it and i wasn't in love with it but i do think that it's a good movie with great stuff in it, and the most important thing is that i was into it from the beginning till the end and wasn't bored at all, and for a two hours plus romance drama film that was a legit high point for me.
Mad Max: Fury Road (2015)
A Cheesy Silly Boring Action Film
Am i the only the one that think most of the action sequence in Fury Road was boring?, and that's not because i think the action was bad, it's the lack of characters introduction that makes it boring for me, i think that if you wanna do a big action sequence involving all the important characters of the movie, you need to at least give the audience to know the characters personality first, the reason why i was bored already in the first big action sequence is because i still have no idea what personality these characters have, Immortan Joe, Nux, Furiosa, and even Max, the lack of characters introduction, the movie just wanna be exploded right away, and it's tiring sometimes, unlike the other previous three where it still have an introduction, other problems that i have was the editing decision, Miller seems to want the movie felt like the old days with these cheesy 80s action editing style which could've work back in the day but it just wasn't fit in this modern era and version of the movie, it just looks weird, and i guess that's about it, the main story i didn't really care also, it's silly but i guess i can still follow it, and the good stuff from Fury Road was of course the world itself, that's what still amazing about the Mad Max franchise and what i adore from George Miller in terms of Mad Max is that he is a genius on creating this weird looking future full of these weird characters but i like it, the cars model was incredible, and the majority of the special effects in the film looks good, the practical effects was great, but the performances was a mixed, i thought Immortan Joe was good, Charlize Theron was ok as Furiosa, Nicholas Hoult was good as Nux, the girls were ok, but Tom Hardy as Max i wouldn't say he's bad portraying him, i know that he want's to be different but it's a mixed performance overall, and to remind also that even though i think most of the action sequence was boring, it's not bad, i believe something that boring doesn't always mean bad, incredible things could bored you as well and that's the case with Fury Road, the action was pretty good but mostly boring, that's it, Mad Max: Fury Road in my opinion is a big disappointment overall, it's a cheesy silly boring action film, with great production and world, some good performance, and pretty good action sequence, but again the bad pacing makes it quite sufferable to watch, definitely not something that i would rewatch anytime soon or in the future, i just simply don't care.
Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome (1985)
A Pretty Good Mad Max Continuation Entering This Interesting Fantasy World With Good Action Sequences
The Mad Max world has entered its fantasy element to it, while sometimes it's silly, it's not too silly that it makes me dislike it, and overall i did found the fantasy element was more interesting than The Road Warrior, Beyond Thunderdome release around The Goonies era where what's fun in the movies was an adventure films with a bunch of kids in it, and that's the case with Beyond Thunderdome and it quite works, actually the most surprising thing about this movie is how much i like it, i found Beyond Thunderdome as a pretty good Mad Max continuation entering this interesting fantasy world with good action sequences, it might not be the amazing first and original Mad Max, sometimes it's silly like i mention earlier, and overall tone and direction wasn't as good, still i can say that overall i like and quite enjoy Beyond Thunderdome.
Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes (2024)
More Of Like A Meh Planet Of The Apes Movie Than A Bad Planet Of The Apes Movie
I have quite a lot of problems with this newest Apes movie, i thought that the first 30 minutes was pretty boring, the story was just not as compelling as the three previous film, not as engaging and not as well structured as the previous one and that's not saying that the previous movies were perfect in any way, i just feel like they could actually showed more without adding another duration, one good interesting character that they kill way too soon, the villain Proximus could've been introduced more well and showed more so that we can actually be terrified by him but unfortunately that's not the case, he's still good but not as terrifying as he should be, some of the editing was weak, and that's basically all of my problem with the film, the good stuff in the film was of course the CGI, special and visual effects in the film was incredible, the slower dialogue parts are mostly the most engaging part of the film, all the characters while some wasn't perfectly used, they were good characters, Freya Allan was ok, and Noa i think was a perfect sort of Caesar next leader of the franchise, the rest of the supporting characters was good too, and the ending was really opening some new continuation story that i definitely more interested and excited for, very strong ending that i really like, so overall it's still a mixed feeling mostly as i really do wanna loved this movie but it is a slow burn Apes movie with a problematic stuff in it and not as amazing of a story as before, but not bad, and it still filled with amazing technical stuff, good new characters, good performances, and decent story, i do believe and hope that i will like the next one even more than this one.
Love Lies Bleeding (2024)
A Great Film That Missing A Lot Of It Scene, But Not A Bad Movie Overall, And Still Almost An Ok Movie
6.5/10
Crazy film it is, Love Lies Bleeding was a great looking film, with great style, and great performances, but what i felt conflicted about the film was the pacing, the pacing was a mess, and it really bothered me as i thought that the movie could've been really work if it's actually expanded in terms of the story and characters development, shows more of it, instead this happens already, that happens already, showed more is my wish throughout the film while watching it, although again the story of the movie i thought it was ok enough for me to actually still follow it until the end, but it wasn't like amazed me as again the pacing was so messy, and there's a lot of missing scene in the film, overall i thought Love Lies Bleeding was not a bad movie at all, interesting concept, and there is still a lot of things i appreciate and like, but what they left in the final product was more of like a great film that missing a lot of it scene, and it's like someone accidentally hitting a mess button so there's some scenes that got accidentally cut, the scene placement that got mixed, and so many leftovers is what i felt the final product is, and what's in it is just ok to good but still with the feeling of unsatisfied mostly, again Love Lies Bleeding felt like a great film that missing a lot of it scene, but not a bad movie overall, and still almost an ok movie.
The Fall Guy (2024)
One Of The Most Entertaining Films Of The Year
8.5/10
It's a funfest of a film The Fall Guy is, one whole theater just out laughing joy at the film as it is the funniest film i've seen in a long time, and i haven't open up my laughter personally for a new comedy in a long time too, Ryan Gosling has just killing it lately since Barbie, his performance in The Fall Guy was definitely the most entertaining performance of the year so far, his chemistry with Emily Blunt was enjoyable and good, David Leitch excellent direction especially the action sequences was great, the cinematography was great, the soundtrack was good, the special effects was great, the story was entertaining enough while it's not completely original but still fun, i just wish it wasn't this long of a movie, i do felt it's a bit too long, but overall i still enjoy the hell out of The Fall Guy for the most part, it's fun, and it's enjoyable, it's one of the most entertaining films of the year.
Civil War (2024)
A Masterpiece Filled Content From A Simple Product
I didn't have many expectation for Civil War as i really don't like Alex Garland previous movie Men, but man did he shock me more than a surprise, i think Civil War is definitely in the conversation for best films of the year, a Masterpiece, the way that Garland showed this complicated conflict more in the simpletest way and also still showing us the straight forward powerful true deep meaning of the story was perfect, the journalist takes of it also fascinate me as it beautifully yet tragically captured the job, and the execution from every camera shot was perfect, it's intense, it's again beautifully and masterfully shot, the soundtrack was awesome, and it's super well written, each of every characters didn't even have time to introduce their backstory but it didn't matter cause what matters is the situation in the film that are much more important for the audience to care about and i think that's a right decision and it works perfectly, so do the rest of the film, i was just amazed on how good Civil War was, the execution in every scene, the dialogue, the set, and of course the performances was perfect, i would be mad if Civil War didn't get any recognitions in the Oscar next year, it's so good, overall Civil War is easily one of the best films of the year, second best films of the year so far, one of the most fascinating project i've seen this year, a Masterpiece filled content from a simple product.
Ghosts (1996)
A Well Enough And Enjoyable Enough, Short Film, And I Really Like It, I Think It's Great, Unique, Original, And Creative
8.5/10
It's weird and what an interesting concept, it's what Thriller would've be if it's made to a full short film, but it's the Ghosts version, who's ever doubted a Michael Jackson choreography, it's always amazing, the decision for Jackson's to also play the mayor with all of the great prosthetic makeup, and i think the most impressive thing was his deep voice to portray the mayor, and damn can he still move with all of that fake body fat, the haunted house was pretty cool, sure the special effects sometimes was not the best but sometimes it did look cool, and overall i think Jackson's work for this short film did well enough and enjoyable enough, and i really like it, i think it's great, unique, original, and creative.
