Good rendition
It's very good, and maintained the pace for a long film very well. The actors did their job properly with the right amount of emotion. I wanted to give it 8*, but couldn't. It's very good but not quite outstanding. The camerawork is very good, sometimes splendid and added to the emotion of the story. I don't agree with reviewers who compare films with the original classic novels. They're two different media and both have shortcomings and advantages. It's worth seeing and on a big screen. I didn't notice anyone becoming bored during the film despite its length - such as looking at their phones or shifting a lot.
