Alright, so according to a new report from Soaps.com,we're about to see Bill plot out a new, big scandal. If this scandal works, it could definitely put him back in the driver's seat at Spencer Publications. This is why Bill is going to needs some very specialized help to pull it off. That's where this new guy Ken will come into play. It's being reported by both Soaps.com and TVinsider.com that Bill is going to hire a tech wiz guy named Ken to hack into the Spencer Publications computer files in an effort to retrieve the incriminating recording that Liam has of Bill confessing to setting the Spectra building on fire. Obviously, if Bill can get his hands on it, Liam would have nothing to continue blackmailing Bill with. That would set the stage for Bill to return and take back his company. The big question...

Smallville, as we know is currently in the midst of its 10th and final season (Read our latest review here). The series is not being shy either on bringing back former DC characters that have appeared on the series before. It even seems that one of the returning characters will be bringing along a new bride. EW’s Ausiello Files reports that when Alan Ritchson returns as Aquaman, he will be married to the DC Comics queen of the sea, Mera. Elena Satine has been cast in the role of the deep sea bride. I got to say she is perfectly cast as her physical characteristics are the exact description of Mera from the comics (red hair and green eyes). The newlywed couple will appear on the show’s ninth episode.
In the comics, Mera is the former queen of Dimension Aqua, and current Queen of Atlantis and wife of...

Lafayette is getting a love.
Kevin Alejandro is joining the cast of True Blood, GregInHollywood.Com reports. Alejandro will play Jesus Velasques, an orderly and son of Alfre Woodward's Ruby Jean Reynolds. Alejandro was last seen -- if you can call an NBC series cancelled before the ordered second season ever aired -- in the police procedural Southland.*
He's got a good Sf pedigree, having also appeared in Gemini Division, Knight Rider and Eleventh Hour. Greg reports he's going to be in just about every episode of True Blood, so I imagine we'll get to know him very well.
*True, the second series was picked up by TNT, but still.....

It's not exactly coincidence that today's launch of Sony's zombie comedy web seriesWoke Up Dead comes on the heels of the company's box-office-winning $25 million opening weekend for Zombieland. In fact it was pretty much by design. With its debut on Crackle today, the Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite) led comedy is the latest example of how the studios are starting the work their digital properties into the synergistic business mix, capitalizing on buzz from one property to drive interest in another. The series is touted as the tentpole of Crackle's fall lineup, one that is slimmed down from previous seasons to feature just a handful of premium, more polished online series from Sony Pictures Television. It's the latest from online creative shop Electric Farm Entertainment, the guys behind web series like NBC's Gemini Division and more recently MTV's Valemont. Heder stars as a six-year USC grad turned office drone, Drex Greene,...

Woke Up Dead is a new live-action zombie comedy from Electric Farm Entertainment appearing on Sony Pictures Entertainment’s online video network, Crackle.com. The original online series stars comedian Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite, Blades of Glory), Josh Gad (Back to You, The Rocker), Krysten Ritter (Breaking Bad, 27 Dresses), Jean Smart (24, Samantha Who?) and Wayne Knight (Seinfeld). Woke Up Dead, marks Heder's first foray into the world of web programming and takes place in various locations around Los Angeles, California. The story of Woke Up Dead follows Drex Greene (Heder), a regular recent college grad who finds himself undergoing an inexplicable transformation that begins when he wakes up at the bottom of a water-filled bathtub. Drex’s roommate Matt, who has been eagerly filming his demise, informs him that he’s easily (and inhumanly) been underwater for more than a half-hour. As he starts to develop zombie-like tendencies, Drex finds...

Sony's Crackle.com announced its fall lineup today and as expected, the Jon Heder lead zombie comedy Woke Up Dead is the headlining web series in the bunch. The online network is known for rolling out new 13-week seasons four times a year, and this new slate has just three new original series in it. The other two newcomers, Groundlings comedy Hardline: Inside the Idaho Sex Cult and Barry Sonnenfeld's The Esquire Digital Man join the weekly returning series Anytime with Bob Kushell, Penn Says and My Long Distance Relationship. The most touted is clearly Woke Up Dead from web vets Electric Farm Entertainment (Gemini Division, Afterworld, Valemont), which first popped up in development last summer. After finally lensing earlier this summer, the series calls itself a "re-imagining of the zombie mythology" with Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite) plays a USC college student thrust into a world of zombie powers...

The latest attempt at a web series comes from NBC and its new show, “Gemini Division”, which premiered on Monday, August 18, over at www.geminidivision.com, and stars Rosario Dawson, Justin Hartley (Smallville), and Kevin Alejandro (Ugly Betty).
“Gemini Division” is a female first-person confessional (Lonelygirl15-like) about biotech run wild. Rosario Dawson plays Anna Diaz, a New York City detective on a trip in Paris with her boyfriend (Justin Hartley), who seems to have something wrong with him.
What do you guys think about it? Not to shabby if I may say so myself.

I had a chance to get a sneak peak at the first 2 episodes of the upcoming Rosario Dawson Web Series called Gemini Division which will air on NBC.com. I am a huge fan of Rosario Dawson and think she is gorgeous but even that cant make or break a series much less a web-short series. What I saw was just that a sneak peak but unfortunately a sneak peak at nothing. You would think with a web series where popularity is make or break in the first impression that the first two episodes would be the meat to our meat and potatoes meal. Lay the ground work, get the ball rolling and then tell a story w...

London -- British commercial broadcaster ITV shares may be trading around rock bottom, but it's flexing its muscle in the emerging Internet video market, announcing the acquisition of a 10% stake in Web video production studio Electric Farm Entertainment for an undisclosed sum Friday.
Acquired through its U.S. production unit, Granada America, the acquisition gives ITV a foothold in online drama content creation aimed at a youth audience in the mold of such successes as Bebo's "Kate Modern," "PromQueen" and "Quarterlife."
Current Electric Farm Web drama formats include sci-fi show "Gemini Division" and thriller "Woke Up Dead."
Under the deal, Granada America also is expected to explore new Web video content possibilities for its U.S. factual entertainment brands including "Hell's Kitchen," "Nanny 911" and "One More Time."
Santa Monica-based Electric Farm was founded by former Sony Pictures Entertainment co-president Jeff Sagansky and Disney producer Stan Rogow.
"I'm attracted to this company because they are specializing in scripted direct-to-Internet programming that is economically produced but creatively engaging," ITV Global Content head Lee Bartlett said. "These projects have worldwide appeal to audiences and advertisers alike, with the potential to grow on to other platforms including TV."
ITV shares rose 1.3% to 43p (85 cents) on the news.
