“The Cloud”: Best of Show, Giacomo Marchione (Italy)
Underwater360 Group, the organizers of the Asia Dive Expo (ADEX) have announced the winners of the show’s signature photo/video/art competition, Voice of the Ocean. The big winner was Italian shooter Giacomo Marchione, whose breathtaking image “The Cloud” was named “Best of Show.” Giacomo’s prizes included a Seacam camera housing worth $10,000 as well as a Backscatter Mini Flash 2 Dual Remote Lighting Plus Package worth $1,225.
The Voice of the Ocean live judging event was the culmination of the three-day ADEX Ocean Festival 2024. This year’s panel of judges—Tobias Friedrich, Mikko Paasi, Erin Quigley, Berkley White, William Tan, Imran Ahmad, and Yoshi Hirata—viewed dozens of shortlisted entries in seven categories. Congratulations to the winners: Miguel Ramirez (Photo of the Year), PT Hirschfield (Compact Camera Photo of the Year), Guido Villani (Environmental Photo of the Year), PJ Aristorenas (Mobile Photo of the Year), Plamena Mileva (Underwater Fashion Photo of the Year and Artwork of the Year), and Matthias Edling (Video of the Year).
