The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will find out Wednesday when they will be playing their respective opponents this upcoming season. There will be plenty of leaks throughout the day but in typical NFL fashion nothing is “official” until they release the schedules — or until they start airing their NFL Network schedule release show because, well, that’s what they do.
The Bucs had a successful season in 2023, reaching the Division Round of the NFC Playoffs before being bounced by the Detroit Lions. With that being said we can most likely see an extra primetime game or two on their 2024 slate on top of the “every team plays in primetime” game.
It’ll be interesting to see how many Tampa Bay will get to play under the lights last season. The success of quarterback Baker Mayfield last season will cetianly draw attention, but will it be enough for the schedule makers?
Games at Raymond James Stadium feature the typical divisional matchups while adding the Commanders, Eagles, Broncos, Raiders, 49ers, and Ravens and traveling to play the Cowboys, Giants, Chiefs, Chargers, and Lions, and Vikings along with the annual trips to Charlotte, Atlanta, and New Orleans. We’ll find out soon enough when they’ll face these teams.
Get your calendars ready, Bucs fans.
