‘Good vibes’ - Lamine Yamal speaks out after Barcelona’s win over Real Sociedad

Lamine Yamal was on target againts for Barcelona on Monday as Xavi’s side moved back into second place with a 2-0 win over Real Sociedad.

It’s a good win for the hosts who move back above Girona in the table in Spain with just three games left to play.

Here’s what Lamine made of it all:

“It’s a big game for us we needed to win it to get back to second place - we still have nine points to fight for,” he said.

“I saw Robert’s pass and Gundo was there - he’s very dangerous there it’s his best position - all I had to do was finish it off.

“We struggled to find our feet but slowly and surely we were better.

“Robert and I were talking afterwards about a few moments in the game when I could have done a bit better but it’s good vibes in the dressing room.

“We were a bit surprised because we saw both handballs and neither were given.”

Barcelona now return to action on Thursday against Almeria and then face Rayo on Sunday.
