In Memoriam
Morgan Spurlock, 1970-2024
Documentarian Morgan Spurlock burst onto the scene with his hilarious and controversial film Super-Size Me, in which he only ate McDonalds for a whole month and catalogued the toll it took on his health.
He parlayed that success into a career producing, directing, and creating reality-based docudramas.

Coming-Of-Age Fiction, Teen Film - Rated PG-13 - 103 Minutes - 1986
Hughes wrote the screenplay in less than a week and shot the film over three months in 1985. Featuring many landmarks, notably the Sears Tower and the Art Institute of Chicago, the film was Hughes' love letter to Chicago: "I really wanted to capture as much of Chicago as I could. Not just in the architecture and landscape, but the spirit."
