    At Parfums Christian Dior, our talented community of Makeup Artists is an inexhaustible source of inspiration and creativity all over the world. On October 24th, the 23rd annual National Makeup Artists Seminar was held in Chengdu China. An amazing opportunity for makeup artists to learn about makeup trends in China and to practice on both international and local trends with the collaboration of the Central Retail Education team. They also took part in the "Dior Pro-Team Academy" program organized by the Central team, to train the team on how to achieve a balanced look and how to get ready for any competition. To conclude the seminar, a makeup show took place to celebrate all the creativity of the local makeup artists.     At Parfums Christian Dior, we’re convinced that collaboration is key to achieving excellence.   DIOR X BERNARDAUD, AN ODE TO FRENCH SAVOIR-FAIRE This holiday season, the House of Dior promotes French savoir-faire and heritage with a renewed collaboration with Bernardaud, master in the art of porcelain since 1863, to bring to light a limited series of magnificent porcelain lithophanes. Created in the 19th century, this traditional technique sees patterns engraved on unglazed porcelain, a very specific ceramic composed mainly of kaolin. To obtain a perfect white and translucent piece, it is fired twice at more than 1000 degrees for more than 24hours. The delicate design is then revealed by the light of the La Collection Privée 30 Montaigne candle. For this Holiday limited-edition, the Bernardaud ateliers have created three domes: the first one embodies the façade of 30 Avenue Montaigne, the House’s first address and a sanctuary of wonders, while the two others feature illustrations of the Tuileries Garden, a pattern exclusively created by Pietro Ruffo. Each month, a full panel of speakers contributes to our acculturation and upskilling sessions, providing inspiring, instructive and thought-provoking content.
