On World Red Cross Day and throughout 2019, International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) will celebrate the strength and reach of their global network, and the contribution of their staff and 11.7 million active volunteers through the theme #Love.
This year International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) aims to broaden public’s understanding of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement by highlighting the diversity of their work and the universality of their approach by using a simple call to action: what do you #love about Red Cross and Red Crescent?
The Mission of the Red Cross Society is to inspire, encourage and initiate at all times and all forms of humanitarian activities so that human suffering can be minimized and to create a peaceful environment
